Town of Chapel Hill, NC : News Releases : Letter to Governor from Openly Gay Mayors

This all seems to follow personal and not Town agendas. Was this the result of a Town Council vote? If the Mayor wants to speak his mind, go for it, but don't assume that he speaks for the Town which this implies he does. It's fine in this instance, but I still see it as an abuse of office.
