Lowe's Home Improvement: Appliances, Tools, Hardware, Paint, Flooring
I was really struck by how helpful everyone in the store was; a big improvement over past shopping trips there. Everyone had an answer and stuck with me until they were sure I had gotten what I wanted from fitting for our irrigation system through cleaner for bathroom sink top to advice on laying a floor in our crawlspace. The experience left such a positive impression that I will stop there ahead of Home Depot next time I need a hardware item.

The people in the store are always very friendly and helpful. Their weekly sales always have something new, and are very compelling, a combination of food and other households items. When I was there, I bought vines to plant in our yard, a new "topper" for our gas grill, some new garden tools, dark chocolate-covered espresso beans, a can of very tiny young peas, a French baguette and some squash. I have high confidence that I saved quite a bit.

Stopped here to look at plates on sale. I was not impressed with what they had to offer, and very little new from my last visit likely a year ago. No one offered to help me.

Very positive visit with Dr. BANKAITIS today. She helped, as she always does, with good advice and a plan to deal with an issue I raised. The two people at the front desk and the nurse with whom I dealt were all very friendly, attentive and efficient.

They seem to have organized to the point of putting up signs - save our small businesses - along 15-501. Some mention on sign of 7 story buildings. So much of this seems so imprecise. Just because the Town switches to this new zoning approach does not mean that anything will happen, does it?
