"Bonny Doon Vineyard’s Labeling Policy Draws Little Attention" - NYTimes.com

There is an old story of selling books in Georgetown - Washington, D.C. It goes something like this. A piece of paper was inserted at random in copies of a hot new book in one bookstore. The books sold. The piece of paper offered some kind of reward just for finding them and, I think, calling a number. Almost no one called.
So it is with food labels everywhere. I would be very interested to see what is known about what people read on food labels today. How many read anything? How many look for certain things? What are they? How many devour them in detail? How many ask questions?
